Transfers, Woods Cross, UT Sister Adams!

Dearest Pratt Family,

Thank you so much for all of your sweet prayers, I have totally felt them this week. It was so hard to leave Sister Yates. We had resolved our concerns, but I felt bad that I could have been a better loving companion to her, but to know we will be friends forever!!! I care for her really like my sister. Just like Mary and Abby! They are the best of friends! Tuesday evening I helped her pack and it was the hardest thing ever. We had talked with Heather and she is such a great support to me and so understanding. I cried that night to sleep nervous for Wednesday. But Heavenly Father KNOWS ME!!! I guess change is good. Funny how Sister Yates is always right, she guessed I would be with Sister Adams. (She trained Sister Hansen my MTC companion!) Haha. And Sister Adams had a feeling I would be with her!!! Sister Adams is a powerhouse sister! Totally go to work no slacking, meet with all the Bishops and such, planner and all. But a little quiet and not talkative. But we are doing well!

Our goal for March is 7 BAPTISMS! And we have reached 19 as Bountiful Zone!!! Highest since the split of our mission in July! And guess what another split in July, the Utah Salt Lake EAST MISSION!!!! So exciting to know the work of the Lord is moving forward no matter what! We have like 8 investigators on date for March! Please pray for them! D, K, P, C, P, H, A and M! We are teaching more and I feel a bit overwhelmed but all is well! I just love this work and the members and people! Our district is just amazing! Love them so much! This transfer will be hard to keep them all on date but so full of FAITH and PRAYER. I LOVE IT!!! :)

Oh how I love you all! Could I have Aunt and Uncles from both sides address?

We must embrace the gospel in faith with Jesus Christ at our side! He really does know us as we are willing to use the Atonement into our daily life. We were able to do another Missionary Fireside last night! Powerful knowing the youth are ready to go out and serve! Warm Fuzzy! I feel so blessed to have this opportunity to serve HIM and HIS CHILDREN!!!! Blessings will come. I just know it!

With all my love, Your daughter and little sister,
Sister Sarah Jane Pratt

I was able to see the blessings of two Sister Missionaries on Wednesday and two Elders who served years before me!

Dearest Pratt Family,

My heart is totally full today and this past week. It's so hard to see the effects/ or differences you make in someones life but this week it all unfolded right before my eyes!!!

Sister Yates had a training with Sister Sprouse on Tuesday and Wednesday so I was able to be with Sister Calda on those two days Tuesday being in Woods Cross and then Wednesday in Layton. What a powerful sister. She really helped me understand a few principles as we did lots of role plays! (Totally not my favorite!) But I learned so much. She let me know that she was learning right along with me and that helped me feel better about myself because I have been trying my very best but it seems like it's not enough. The spirit was in the room and Sister Calda had a 'perfect lesson' with me. She read in Mosiah....and it was just what I needed. I'm the one that has to change and speak up to my companion. Like when I was younger I was super shy going into Kindergarten, that is how it is now. It's hard to get use to. Smiling takes so much effort.

On the bright side, on Wednesday of S's Baptism you said it, ALMOST everything went wrong! Haha. Our ride to get us from Layton got lost and was late...etc. But we made it to the baptism right at 5 pm and WOW. I gave the talk on Baptism and it was straight from my heart and I was guided by the Spirit! Don't worry, I had my tissues in my hand! Such a tender moment for her. She was clean!

On Sunday, Sister Yates and I spoke in the 13th ward (Heather's ward!) I felt like I was looking at her the whole time but I talked on Faith in Jesus Christ! Totally guided again by the Spirit! Then we went to the 12th ward such a great meeting. And went to the Bountiful 7th ward to view S's confirmation. So super tender to hear of her blessings to see her three times in white! The temple is her next step! I get the goosebumps to know that this is just what mom went through....I saw her eternal family....strong in the church and serving others. Because of her life, Sister Yates and my decision to serve a mission the blessings two sister missionaries can do to a life, a family, an eternal generation!!! Please send an email to mom's missionaries! Because of them they effected S!

Tears fall knowing I have shined my light with Sister Yates right beside me helping me serve His children in Woods Cross! I'm so blessed!

Transfers are on Wednesday...I'm nervous, scared, but still willing to do as the Lord commands. I'm in need of lots of prayers today and the next few. My heart is so full of love but lacks in faith just a bit.

Still Valentine's package: Tears fell as I received the families! <3 Justine's from work, and Miss Abigail's!!!! I love you all!

Love your humbled and still learning daughter and little sister,
Sister Sarah Jane Pratt
I promise I'll write this week to each of you....Carrie and AP I have lots to tell you. Your letters were so touching <3

Confidence in His work brings Faith which brings about Blessings in Woods Cross!

Dearest Pratt Family,

Have I told you lately that I love you all?!!?! Because I truly do! I have felt your prayers so much this week and am grateful for being able to serve a mission. This week has been wonderful teaching S at President Hills home for Family Home Evening on Monday. Tuesday was so awesome being able to have study and feel the spirit all day despite K and T canceling on us.S is totally ready! She is the sweetest and really wants to learn more. Also D is on date for February 23!!! And L we haven't seen much but we visited her and she can feel the spirit that is felt when we talk and read the scriptures with her!

Wednesday after dinner we were able to be with Sister C (our ride for the night). She needed a pick-me-up and so I began to sing hymns and Sister Yates and I shared a little spiritual message in the car! So cute! The spirit was so strong!

Thursday was AMAZING! Lesson with C he is living with friends in the 7th ward and I invited him to be baptized! Its a yes!!!! P is also ready! We talked about the Word of Wisdom and he is wanting to learn about prophets! So much conviction!

On Friday was Zone Meeting and that was so to my heart I know where I need to improve and change! I have to have lots of Faith this month because our GOAL is 28 BAPTISMS FOR FEBRUARY as a zone!!! We can do it, Sister Yates and I have 3 on date!!!!

Saturday we taught a Preach My Gospel lesson with a family and their daughter is planning on serving after graduation! She told us that she has gone out with other sisters and never has she felt this strong of a spirit! So touching I had warm fuzzes all night! I'm doing my best to talk to others and to help them come closer to HIM! He is my personal Savior and Redeemer! I love you all!
